History-making Hurricane Melissa has wreaked havoc in the country of Haiti.
Devastation at Home
Hurricane Melissa hit the city of Petit Goave, Haiti which is where the ministry of iOS is located! The Macedonia Baptist Church that was founded 40 years ago that we partner with, The Ware Children's home where we have 25 children in care, as well as our Training Center are all located in the city! The stories of loss that we are hearing from our people in the city are heartbreaking! We know the people in this city and can help them in a way that larger organizations are not able, but we cannot without your generous support.
Rising Death Toll
The deal toll as of this morning was 25 with at least 10 of those being children and 15 more missing. All of those numbers are expected to rise over the next several days.
Our dear brothers and sisters in Christ are fighting for survival, and you and I can make a difference for them and the lost souls around them that are suffering such unimaginable loss.
