RESCUING CHILDREN

Many children have either lost their parents or have even been abandoned. Unlike the United States, Haiti has no governmental system that takes care of these children in crisis. I.O.S. wants to be able to not only provide shelter, but also a warm, caring environment where these children can prosper.
ORPHANAGES
HELPING LOCALS

Due to poverty, lack of government assistance, and lack of resources, many people in Haiti are in need of vocational training so that they can learn to be independent and self-sustaining.
SCHOOLS
DEVELOPING LEADERS

In addition to providing basic education, I.O.S. seeks to develop leaders and train pastors to help in their local communities with physical and spiritual matters.

THIS IS I.O.S.

International Orphanages and Schools (I.O.S.) is an organization founded to educate and assist residents in Haiti. The country of Haiti has always struggled with poverty, lack of education, lack of opportunity, and the evil practice of Voodoo.

It is the mission of I.O.S. to establish a hub in Petit Goave to train and educate the local residents and provide a home for the many orphans. Not only do we want to share the Gospel with the people of Haiti, but we want to equip them to build a better life for themselves.

The plan is to equip local pastors, teachers, and leaders the resources they need to change their community from the inside out.

I.O.S. is currently in the works of building an orphanage for the many children in need of shelter, care, resources, education, love, and the gospel.

As we’re building toward this orphanage, we currently have a foster care system in place to help the children we can with host homes (host homes are our local ministry partners in Haiti). We currently have multiple children and several sibling groups that need food, clothing, and education, which is given to the foster families by I.O.S. We need you to help us care and provide for these children through your caring sponsorships.
